About Me

 My name is Jacqueline Smith and I have lived in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada all of my life. 

I’m a single mom now as my husband passed away 13 years ago.  My son and I have this adorable red lab named Alice who is 2 years old. From the time I was 10 years old I've been doing something crafty.  First it was macramé then cross stitching followed by candle making and then painting.  20 years ago I discovered rubber stamping/scrapbooking thru Cathie Allan who had this amazing store.  I was so impressed with her cards that I wanted to duplicate them.  I thought I could save money in the long run by making my own cards.  Ha! Ha!  I have loved the creative outlet it has given me by making cards or scrapbooking the perfect photo.

I put my heart into every detail of the cards that I create.  They vary from cards that have a simplicity to more elaborate cards that are engaging and very detailed.   My cards are unique with emphasis on the exquisite detail for every occasion with no two cards being exactly alike. 

Over the years I have found that my interests have changed.  I still love making cards but now have discovered Mixed Media, Colour Pencils and anything to do with ink.  I hope to incorporate these techniques into my art and cardmaking.
